More information about Bulsara And His Queenies tickets

Bulsara and His Queenies are a remarkable 7-piece band that perform the music of Queen. In early 2018 they were selected by Queen Productions Ltd. to headline the official Freddie Mercury Birthday Party in Montreux, Switzerland in September 2018.

Made up of youthful music graduates and an ex-physics teacher, they have their own identity; not what is quite expected of your typical 'Queen Tribute Band'. There are no wigs, no yellow jackets and no attempt to look like Queen. Instead, the band's whole ethos is based upon performing the studio versions of the songs to an exceptional standard, rather than hiding behind any gimmicks or trying to recreate Queen's famous 1986 Magic Tour.

"We haven't made a conscious decision to be alternative; we've just evolved that way! The fact that we were still booked for the hottest party in showbiz by the management of the world's biggest band is testament to our musical capabilities." - Gareth Taylor, vocalist.

In recent years, the Queen Tribute market in the UK has become somewhat flooded. Bulsara and His Queenies [BAHQ], founded in the summer of 2016 in the North of England, offer a unique and sensational alternative. They don't describe themselves as a 'Queen Tribute Band' per se; think 'homage' rather than 'pastiche'.

BAHQ exist to provide the most discerning Queen fan with a unique experience. As well as performing several of Queen's more mainstream hits, the band place particular emphasis on the 'Deep Cuts' from the first half of Queen's career. To date, Queen have sold over 300 million albums worldwide, proving that album tracks are extremely popular with the hard-core Queen fans.

In 2017, the band rapidly evolved and had formed their own identity. Reassured by the feedback they received from their growing fanbase, it became clear that they had exposed a niche in the Queen Tribute market, in that it's possible to perform Queen's music without looking like them and be respected more for doing so.
